Keep your dog on lead especially if walking in areas with livestock. Worrying livestock can have a devastating financial effect for farmers in addition to seeing the loss, distress and injury caused to their animals. If sheep are chased by a dog even if they are not bitten the chase can cause stress and particularly impacts sheep in lamb.
Dogs are now a part of the family and increasingly families like to bring their dogs on holidays.
A survey carried out by Dogs Trust showed that almost half of dog owners found it difficult to find somewhere to stay with their pet.
We aim to redress this issue by not only making it easier for dog owners to plan holidays, but also by offering advice to pet friendly hotels, country & town houses & bed and breakfasts on formulating a pet policy. We don’t take any commission from hotel bookings.
